Cyber & Technology Security Panel Discussion
On the 2nd of October from 17:00 to 18:00, the British Chamber of Commerce |
EU & Belgium is organising a panel discussion, following the workshop, for the Cyber & Technology Security pillar of our European Economic Security and Competitiveness Programme.
Building on the outcomes of the workshop, this panel discussion will bring together representatives from the UK Government, EU institutions and key industry voices to reflect on the proposals discussed, and explore the future of EU-UK Cyber & Technology Security.
The discussion will focus on coordinated responses to evolving cyber threats, leveraging joint research and development initiatives such as the EU’s Digital Europe Programme and the UK’s Digital Security by Design. Panelists will also examine ways to foster innovation and strengthen domestic technological resilience to reduce dependency on external actors, ensuring strategic, long-term investments in this vital sector.
